Change Management: Myths & Concepts
Effective Change Management change is critical to the success of any project but what it is and why it’s important are often misunderstood.
A successful project usually involves effective integration and alignment of the three key project disciplines or threads: process, people and technology.
More than one survey has indicated that up to 60% of projects fail as a result of resistance to change. In a real way, this means no matter how well a project is managed and how fabulous a product you deliver, if the people side of the equation hasn’t been addressed, your project could still fail!
This session will help Project Managers understand why change creates problems, why people resist change, what Change Management is and isn't, and how a good Change Management program can increase your chances of project success. It may also help PMs get a better night’s sleep!
