Description

Geared towards project participants who will be involved in the requirements determination process, and who have had some experience with this from the past, this interactive seminar will help to identify different types of requirements and look at different methods used to capture them.  There will be a focus on Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions in the context of an IT project. The program covers the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) knowledge areas of Requirements Planning and Management and Requirements Gathering.

 

Learning Objectives

Understand the role of a BA

Define what requirements are

Identify prerequisites to requirements

Review pros and cons with various requirement gathering techniques

Review ways to prioritize and select requirements

Understand what JAD (Joint Application Design) is and when to use it

Plan and conduct a JAD session

Hans Jonasson, PMP founder of JTC Unlimited, has 25 years of experience in the areas of project management and project management training.
